 SNOW

DEEP

COLD

ICE

What else can I say. Took 45 minutes to carefully take the frozen off my car and then carefully pry frozen snow/ice off the windows.

I did get the groceries yesterday after the snow/ice removal.

Today I brushed the snow that was falling and removed more ice on the windows.

Keep well

Another week of rain - dark, hard rain, deep puddles on the main roads.

I have been practicing backing my little black car into my parking spot. Makes it much safer pulling out.

Glad you visited today.

Keep Safe

Tomorrow is Halloween Day - and I am the person handing out the sweets. Put a few pumpkins on the front porch this year and changed the front lights to orange light that flickers.

Photo below is a memory from 2018.

DGS has moved to live with his Mom, his sweet 4 year old sister and Mom's sweetheart far far away for 6 months. He is taking a federal paid course in building. When finished he has made the choice of working, again federally paid to company hiring, while he works for a construction building company with wages.

His sweet sister set out the fabric pumpkins below when visiting a few weeks ago. She loves making groupings when playing.

I am continuing to clear things away, things are somewhat more organized, donated, sold. More work than I could have ever imagined.

I dried all the hydrangea flowers (picked two weeks ago) before the rain that has continued to pour every day and etc. This year I tied the bundles and hung them from an open laundry drier. Worked  better than other 'ideas' for drying. Dried hydrangea last and lasts.

A great place for family photo backdrop right next to Village Antiques Mall.

Keep well Friends

Welcome Back !

Welcome back friends. A year without blogging has passed and I decided to try again. 13 years of blogging disappeared.

My dear blog was
https:/www.avintagegreen.com

It has been a hot summer and gardens and flowers are drying and looking very 'gone'. DGS and I have been working on the front stairs of the house, not finished yet, more painting to come.

I am going to have to figure out again how I designed my first blog - and I have already learned that the sweet and easy setup for a blog is not  what I once had.

Learning to Carry On

Winter Past

Life seemed to rush past and to drag slowly.

One day life changed August 20, 2021 and I have had a year to figure out what I must do to keep life going on.

What needs to be done has been has been slowly done, mostly up to date.

Hugs friends.
